Book Signing: Pat Benatar & More @ Quail Ridge

THURSDAY, SEPT. 2, 12:30-1:30 p.m.  Pat Benatar will be here to sign copies of her new memoir, BETWEEN A HEART AND A ROCK PLACE.  You will receive a signing line ticket with the purchase of the book, as well as a chance to win a private meeting with her after the signing or two tickets to her evening performance at Booth Amphitheater in Cary.
 
THURSDAY, SEPT. 2, 7:30 p.m.  Mark Van Name will discuss CHILDREN NO MORE, a fictional adventure story which addresses difficult issues surrounding child soldiers.  Mark is donating 100% of his proceeds to Falling Whistles to help rehabilitate and reintegrate child soldiers in the Congo.
 
TUESDAY, SEPT. 7, 7:30 p.m.  Brandon Sanderson, widely acclaimed for his work completing Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time saga, will present his own new novel, WAY OF KINGS: THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE, VOL. I. 
 
THURSDAY, SEPT. 9, 7:00 p.m.  The Mystery Book Group discussing mysteries set in a college or university.
 
THURSDAY, SEPT. 9, 7:30 p.m.  Frank Deford, award-winning sports commentator on NPR, presents his novel, BLISS, REMEMBERED, set around the 1936 Olympics in Germany.
 
FRIDAY, SEPT. 10, 3:00 p.m.  Triangle Mommies hosts special story time with activities and book drive for Read Seed (a non-profit putting books in underprivileged kids' hands.)  Bring in a book or get a 20% discount on books purchased for donation 9/5-9/11.
